What KOKO Playground is

KOKO Playground is the link in the homebotone.com footer that opens KOKO City at kokocity.app. KOKO City is a browser-based town where you pick a lot, build a home, and live with your own virtual KOKO.

It is a playful way to get a feel for living with a home robot before the real one arrives: you talk to KOKO, give it tasks, and see how a robot could fit into the rhythm of a household.

A true-to-scale Bay Area, starting in Fremont

KOKO City is built on a 1:1 Bay Area with real terrain and real roads, starting in Fremont, where Homebot One Inc is based. New residents pick a lot marked for sale and ask City Hall for the deed; the first lot is free, and everyone starts with 1,000,000 in-game coins.

The welcome screen describes a gift for new residents: your own KOKO, which tidies, waters, and works while you are away.

Build your home with AI

KOKO City lets you design your home and city with AI tools you already use. The welcome screen names Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor as tools that can design your home and build it.

That makes the town interesting for developers and designers as well as families: you can see how an AI assistant turns a plain-language request into a house or a street.

A simulation, not the real robot

KOKO Playground is a simulation, and the real KOKO’s abilities may differ. Homebot One Inc says so in the footer of homebotone.com, next to the link.

For what the physical robot does today, read the official product pages and the Kickstarter campaign. The company says KOKO is in development and in-home testing, with features introduced progressively.
