January 2026: CES and the MyMemo roots
On January 15, 2026, Yahoo Finance carried a release titled “MyMemo AI Unveils MyMemo ONE — The Humanoid Robot That Brings AI Into Real Homes at CES 2026.” Homebot One Inc lists it among KOKO’s press coverage on homebotone.com.
The link to KOKO is the team’s memory work. Homebot One Inc says KOKO’s memory system grew out of its earlier work on MyMemo, an AI memory assistant.
July 2026: a CEDIA Expo preview
On July 8, 2026, CEDIA Expo published “Meet Koko, the Home Robot Powered by AI That’s Coming to CEDIA Expo 2026.” The piece introduced KOKO to the home technology integrators who attend the show.
Note the spelling: the headline writes Koko, while Homebot One Inc writes KOKO. Both refer to the same robot here, but checking the company name next to the robot name is a good habit when you search.
September 2026: a Top 10 ranking
On September 1, 2026, Humanoid Home News published its September Top 10 list, which Homebot One Inc links under the headline “Homebot One KOKO Joins OpenAI in Humanoid Home News’ September Top 10.” KOKO entered the list at No. 9.
A ranking is one publisher’s assessment at one moment, not a hands-on test or a partnership. Our separate guides explain how to read the list and what it does and does not say.
September 2026: on the CEDIA Expo floor
On September 10, 2026, rAVe [PUBS] published a 57-second video, “CEDIA Expo 2026: Homebot One Features KOKO Home Companion Robot.” It is one of the few third-party videos of KOKO in person, recorded at the show.
Short show-floor videos are useful because they are not produced by the company, but they also capture a demo setting rather than a home. Watch them alongside the in-home testing clip on homebotone.com.
How to keep up with new coverage
The In the news section of homebotone.com collects KOKO coverage with links to the original sources. When you read any article, check the date, the publisher, and whether it reports first-hand testing or repeats company information.
The Kickstarter campaign page also has a story section that is updated by the company, which is the place to look for campaign news once it launches.
