A spoken number is not a current purchase price

When a video gives a home robot price, capture the exact sentence before repeating it. The speaker may be discussing a target, prototype cost, deposit, subscription, research program, estimated future price, prize value, or another product entirely. A clipped number without those qualifiers is not a usable offer.

For KOKO, the Homebot One and KOKO Home pages reviewed on September 30, 2026 did not display a retail price or online checkout. Any video price should therefore be treated as unverified until Homebot One supplies current terms for the relevant program and region.

Transcribe the claim with its context

Write down the product and version, amount, currency, country, date spoken, speaker, source URL, and at least the sentence before and after the number. Note whether the video is a manufacturer upload, interview, news report, event recording, advertisement, review, reaction, or repost.

Look for conditional language such as “starting at,” “expected,” “target,” “deposit,” “per month,” or “for the pilot.” Also check whether captions were automatically generated. A missing currency symbol or transcription error can change the meaning substantially.

  • Identity: exact company, product, version, and program.
  • Amount: currency, tax treatment, deposit, monthly fee, or total.
  • Scope: hardware, software, accessories, delivery, setup, and support.
  • Timing: date stated, validity period, reservation window, and expected delivery.

Find the matching primary offer

Search the manufacturer’s current product, order, pricing, waitlist, and terms pages. The offer should match the video’s product, market, and date. If the manufacturer only provides a demo request or waitlist, do not translate that path into a public retail price.

A news article can corroborate what was said, but it should link to or quote the underlying offer. A search snippet, affiliate page, marketplace listing, or repost may be stale, region-specific, or for a similarly named device. Preserve the primary URL and access date.

Normalize the price before comparing robots

Compare the same ownership period and included package. Add required subscriptions, remote assistance, service, shipping, tax, training, accessories, maintenance, repairs, and exit costs. A low hardware number can be misleading if the useful service requires recurring fees or unavailable support.

Separate availability from affordability. A future target price is not a purchasable offer, and a quoted pilot fee may not apply to consumers. Ask whether the number is a sale, lease, subscription, refundable reservation, research access fee, or custom quote.

Publish a dated verdict, not a timeless number

Use one of four outcomes: confirmed current offer, confirmed historical offer, stated target or estimate, or unverified claim. Explain which evidence produced the label. If the video names KOKO but no matching official price exists, say that the number could not be verified as a current Homebot One offer.

Include the review date because prices and access programs change. Link readers to the manufacturer instead of copying checkout language into a static article. If the source later publishes terms, update the verification without rewriting the original publication date.

Frequently asked questions

What is the KOKO price shown in videos?

Homebot One’s public pages reviewed on September 30, 2026 did not list a retail price. Verify any video number directly with Homebot One for the relevant use and region.

Is a reservation deposit the robot’s price?

No. A deposit is only one payment term. Check the total purchase or subscription cost, refund conditions, included package, and delivery terms.

Can I compare a monthly robot fee with a purchase price?

Only after using the same time period and including setup, service, support, accessories, maintenance, and end-of-term conditions.

What if the video is old?

Label the amount as historical and check the manufacturer’s current offer. Do not present an old price as current without confirmation.
